Unfortunately, however, I haven't been able to verify this myself, as I have a second battery connected to J4.
Hi, I have an Elnagh T-Loft 530 with a Nordelettronica NE364, NE325 40A DC/DC charger and a 314Ah LiFePO4 leisure battery. I upgraded the solar system to 480W with a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/50. The originalsolar controller was connected to JP16, but JP16 is protected by a 15A fuse (F12), so it cannot be used for a solar controller delivering 30A or more. My Victron MPPT is therefore connected directly to the leisure battery/busbar. The problem is that the NE364 does not see this charging current, so its calculated leisure battery SOC keeps decreasing even though the battery is actually being charged by solar. The NE325 DC/DC charger is connected to J5, and the NE364 correctly measures this charging current. According to the NE364 documentation, J5 and J6 are intended for battery chargers, DC/DC chargers and inverters. Does anyone have an NE364 with a 300–500W solar system / high-current MPPT? How is your MPPT connected? In particular, has anyone connected the MPPT positive output to J6, while the DC/DC charger is connected to J5? I am also trying to find out the maximum continuous and combined current rating of J5 + J6. In my case there could be approximately 40A from the DC/DC charger plus 30–35A from solar at the same time. I would especially appreciate information or photos from Elnagh, Roller Team, Mobilvetta or other Trigano vehicles using the NE364, particularly factory installations with 400W solar. Thanks!
