Appena sotto alla cartina trovi la possibilità di scaricare le aree per la sola Italia e per l'intera Europa nei formati che desideri. Per il garmin in formato gpi e gpx e per il tom tom in formato ov2. Spero di esserti stato di aiuto. Enzo onabet
Grazie per avermi fatto sapere. ci sarà essere parcheggio in uno dei principali siti a pomeii e prendere il treno alla volta di Ercolano. La mia preoccupazione è più circa il camper più piccolo solo soste nella zona. Lì come stato che una serie di relazioni qui nel Regno Unito sugli immigrati rompersi in uk placcato camper nella speranza di ottenere denaro e passaporti. finora la pausa ins sono stati riportati solo in Germania e in Francia. ma il suo meglio per chiedere informazioni su cose solo per essere sicuro. hi, in italy u should take more care of the italians and not the immigrants; Do not walk in touristic places with Rolex watches an other staff like these. i suggest u zeus camping in pompei; trains are not like uk, they are crowded and often in late. if u have time, don't miss naples and amalfi coast. have a good trip
Thanks for that. as to the trains we used them last year and if you think they are bad try the uk ones. I pay 10,000 pounds per year for a 75 mile trip in and out of London 5 days a week and I don't even get a seat. we stopped at camp zeus last year but the showers are a bit of a let down, so will be trying the site next to it this time round. I am 17.5 stone and ex army and would kick a thief's ass black and blue if they tried to take my watch. michael

Per andare da Pompei a Ercolano puoi prendere il treno CIRCUMVESUVIANA. La stazione di Pompei si chiama POMPEI SCAVI VILLA DEI MISTERI e la stazione di Ercolano si chiama ERCOLANO SCAVI. Questi i link degli orari dei treni:

Hi MIchael, if you want to visit pompei's ancient ruins i can advise "camping zeus", only 50 meters from main entrance to the ruins, very comfortable, but for me a little bit expensive...
What kind of Rv you drive? Size of it are very important in that places...
thanks, we did the main pomeii site last year, just did not have the time to do much else. and thank you for the train timetables. I drive a globecar pvc, it allows us to cover the ground faster then our old hymer and I use it as a second car all year round. michael
If you want to see Naples, Pompei and Amalfi area, I can suggest to stay in Pompei (near the Church, behind there is AA camping area, 15€ for a day, 20 € with electricity)
From Pompei with 40 minutes by train (5€ ticket) you can see Naples
Thanks for that. always interested in knowing more sites. are dogs allowed ??? . as to Naples, I am not sure, I have little interest in churches, but more in roman history. also like London these days larger city's in many ways have less to offer then small out of the way towns and villages. also I have heard of some bad rip offs like 40 euros for a coffee and lots of thief's. these stories may or may not be true. but it buts me off visiting large city's. michael

Ciao, se vuoi un camping vicino al mare puoi visitare Paestum ed i suoi Templi di epoca greco - romana. Sulla costa di Paestum trovi molti camping con la spiaggia (ammessi cani).
Non conosco il Museo del Gladiatore, posso dirti che a Capua ed a Santa Maria Capua Vetere ci sono diversi siti archeologici di epoca romana, fra questi un anfiteatro simile al colosseo di Roma. Altra zona archeologica che potrebbe interessare si trova a nord di Napoli, nei Comuni di Pozzuoli e Bacoli. Queste erano zone in cui alcuni imperatori romani facevano le vacanze. Visitali su Google maps.
