I had a look at the adapter for refilling your own GB gas cilynders from LPG service stations. You know perfectly how to fill the cilinder in a safe way, but in Italy this kind of refilling is forbidden, and it is very difficult

you can find someone that fill your bottle. In Italy we have not self service LPG stations but only with a man, and so you can't do it by yourself. In GB you have BAYONET adapter for car LPG, in Italy we have DISH adapter and so in the kit you found on Ebay you have to change the first part (Bayonet) with a Dish adapter but with the same screw. May be something like this but I dont know if the screw is the same, you have to ask to the seller. To find rest areas  I use     also in English. I think it's a good application.

Hi John, go quiet, in South Tyrol the same rules apply as in the whole of Europe with regard to the stop with the camper. Those who behave well have no problems, I am always around the Alto Adige and the Dolomites without any particular problems. Only in Cortina you have to be careful. For the rest, trust Tommaso, always prepared and available. Hi, Emil
